Overview The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online Accounting tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home. Pay Base pay range: $18.00/hr – $40.00/hr. Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—reaching up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Responsibilities Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise. Support students with one-on-one online tutoring, or accept on-demand tutoring requests when available. Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features. Handle invoicing and payments through the platform (logistics managed by Varsity Tutors). Qualifications Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Accounting with the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
