Apartment Maintenance Technician

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $13 – $15 per hour, depending on experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall condition of the property, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing quality service.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks in apartments, common areas, and building systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general carpentry.
• Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with apartment turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and preparing units for new residents.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and address potential issues proactively.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests while delivering excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in property or apartment maintenance preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building repairs.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to be punctual for scheduled shifts.
