Hire Priority is looking for a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the on-site maintenance of all facilities located within a specific apartment housing community, as well as providing occasional coverage at other apartment sites when needed. The ideal candidate will have a background in apartment maintenance with a strong background in carpentry and/or building upkeep.

Apartment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Provide regular on-site maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, landscaping, and other necessary tasks.
• Provide occasional coverage at other apartment sites when needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures outlined by the community and company policies.
• Keep a positive and professional environment for all members and guests of the apartment community.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures outlined in the safety policy manual and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Additional tasks as assigned by Management.

Apartment Maintenance Technician Required Skills:

• Must be EPA Certified
• 1 year minimum building maintenance experience
• Strong carpentry skills and experience with apartment building maintenance.
• Ability to work well in a team environment with and without supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be available to work overtime whenever needed.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience with a variety of construction disciplines
