Job Description
Job Summary:
Serve as a working Electrical Foreman – Lineman who both leads and works alongside crews installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead electrical-distribution systems. Plan daily work, assign tasks, secure materials, enforce safety, and personally perform skilled line work to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with company, OSHA, and utility-industry standards.

Talk/Hear: Must communicate clearly over radios and in-person with crew members, dispatchers, and customers, and remain alert to audible alarms, traffic, and equipment sounds.
Stand/Sit: Regularly stands while framing poles, operating bucket trucks, or performing ground-hand duties; sits in vehicles or bucket controls during travel and work positioning.
Walk: Frequently walks over uneven terrain, rights-of-way, and roadways to access pole lines and job sites.
Use hands/fingers to handle or feel: Constantly uses hands to operate handlines, hot sticks, crimpers, and small electrical components with precision and steadiness.
Climb: Routinely climbs wood poles using gaffs, ladders, or aerial devices to heights exceeding 50 feet.
Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl: Regularly stoops or kneels to ground equipment, install hardware, or work in confined or low-clearance spaces.
See: Requires excellent near, far, and color vision to read phase markers, wire tags, prints, and to detect hazards aloft and at ground level.
Carry, weight, Lift: Frequently lifts, pulls, or carries conductors, crossarms, and equipment up to 50 pounds; heavier items handled with mechanical assistance.
Exposure to work: Works outdoors in extreme weather, around high-voltage electricity, heights, insects, and traffic; must stay vigilant and adhere to strict safety protocols to prevent injury to self and others.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
