In an exciting and challenging fast-paced environment, their Electronics Technicians install electronics/electrical systems and ensures proper maintenance and repair of electronic/electrical equipment and instrumentation. What You’ll Do: Installs electronic/electrical systems. Ensures proper maintenance and repair of electronic/electrical equipment and instrumentation. Calibrates all electronic/electrical equipment. Knowledge of functionality and troubleshooting of Load Cells Understand PLC controls and programing Utilize the CMMS System to develop PM schedules and Job Plans Ability to read and understand electronic schematics Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules. Must have ability and desire to work with others. Meets attendance requirements. Performs other duties as deemed necessary. What You’ll Need: Commitment to safety Minimum high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. required. Post-secondary education degree in electronics, or equivalent, preferred. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in repair and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems is preferred.. Previous maintenance experience in a steelmaking environment preferred. Ability to pass written electronics exam.
