Job Description

*Duties include:*

*Supporting the Director of Transportation with*:

-Forecasting and budgeting for district transportation needs.

-Maintaining records and preparing required state and district reports.

-Recruiting, supervising, and evaluating personnel to ensure appropriate staffing levels and high quality employees.

-Providing ongoing professional development and annual in-service training.

-Implementing safety program(s) for drivers. This includes, but is not limited to, investigations of safety related incidents/concerns.

-Developing and carrying out student safety education programs.

-Planning and implementing of routing systems to assist with the development of bus routes and schedules.

*Half time Driving Position:*

MSAD #60 is seeking a licensed (CDL) school bus driver for a half time position in conjunction with the assistant director of transportation role.

*Qualifications:*

-Effective communicator

-Flexible thinker and problem solver

-Understanding of the educational process and role of transportation in a school district

-Current CDL with a bus driver endorsement

-Must have clean driving record.

-CHRC and Fingerprinting are REQUIRED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.38 - $29.33 per hour
