Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position supports students across grades K-12 in a school setting located in South Hill, VA. The role offers an immediate start and extends through the end of the school year, managing a diverse caseload spanning elementary, middle, and high school levels. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from preschool through 12th grade
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs across multiple grade levels including elementary, middle, and high school
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and educational goals
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state policies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach for student success

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
  • Ability to manage a caseload across diverse grade levels, including elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
