The Opportunity

The Facilities/Maintenance Coordinator plays a crucial role providing administrative support to maintenance supervisors and technicians to ensure work orders are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

How You'll Make a Difference

  • Provide administrative support for CMMS to the maintenance team including creation and management of existing store profiles, troubleshooting and support for front line maintenance technicians and adding and maintaining new Maintenance Vendor accounts as needed.
  • Clear, concise communication with internal maintenance team, service center managers, external vendors, and other cross functional stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support for Maintenance Technician vehicle GPS and Training systems.
  • Track capital project costs, communicate schedules to operations stakeholders, follow up to ensure timely vendor invoicing and payments.
  • Attend facilities/maintenance meetings, take notes, share recaps, and provide follow up communication as needed
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion
  • Internally interacts with Maintenance, Facilities, Construction, Operations and Finance teams. Externally interacts with service providers, equipment vendors and material suppliers.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage workflow with focus on priorities and deadlines
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external resources.
  • Dependable, self-sufficient, reliable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a maintenance coordinator or in training.
  • High School Diploma. College degree preferred, or relevant experience.
