Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Princeton, New Jersey, an independent, Catholic, diverse all-girls preschool to 12th grade Sacred Heart School with a mission to educate the whole child and inspire young women to lead lives of exceptional leadership and service, is searching for a Middle/Upper School Counselor for maternity leave position this fall..
This position will emotionally support students and aid in their psychological care and development. The counselor serves as a resource to faculty, administration, and families and guides the school in making decisions about the social-emotional health and well-being of the student body. The counselor serves as a member of our health and wellness team and teaches wellness classes in the middle and upper schools.
The ideal candidate has expertise in their field, a passion for curricular innovation, a proven ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary setting, and a strong belief in all-girls education. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field, and experience working with middle and upper schoolers is preferred.
