Position: Practice Manager / Medical Office Manager
Location: Atlanta
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 annually (commensurate with experience) + up to 10% annual bonus potential
Benefits: Health, Dental, and 401(k)

Overview:
A busy outpatient medical practice in the Sandy Springs area is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a team in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, solid knowledge of billing and revenue cycle management, and proven experience managing a physician office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily practice operations including scheduling, front desk, billing, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Manage and develop administrative and clinical support staff, including scheduling, PTO tracking, and performance oversight.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.
• Supervise billing, coding, and revenue cycle processes to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate provider credentialing, contracting, and licensing renewals.
• Handle patient inquiries and issues with professionalism and excellent customer service.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and staff training initiatives.
• Support operational planning and process improvement to optimize workflow.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in an outpatient medical practice.
• Strong knowledge of billing, coding, credentialing, MIPS, and revenue cycle management.
• Experience with ECW or other EMR systems preferred.
• Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
