JOB TITLE: Recovery Room Technician
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Recovery Room Technician plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the facility by ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked recovery environment. This position requires a high level of teamwork, as technicians must collaborate closely with fellow staff members to maintain a seamless workflow and prepare the unit for the next day. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing beds, restocking linens and supplies, and transporting patients safely and efficiently.
Technicians must be able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment that demands physical stamina, including prolonged periods of standing and walking. Effective communication—both written and verbal—is essential, as the technician interacts regularly with medical staff, patients, authorizations, and external agencies. Their attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment directly contribute to the quality of patient care and the overall efficiency of the unit.
REQUIREMENTS:
CPR (BLS) certification Required.
