Detwiler Roofing, LLC is a family-owned and operated company who has been providing high quality roofing systems for over 15 years. Detwiler Roofing is currently seeking dedicated, hardworking, experienced Roofers to join our growing team on various commercial roofing projects throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey.

A Roofers day-to-day duties and responsibilities are determined by work location (travel is required for this position), and there are many core tasks associated with the role including, but not limited to:

• Ability to identify specific types of roofing materials and implement proper installation and repair methods. Should have knowledge and experience with roofing systems such as EPDM, TPO, PVC, metal, shingle, modified membrane, etc.
• Ability to use hand tools associated with roofing installations including simple hand tools and roofing specific tools.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail in effort to produce quality work with the willingness to make improvements.
• Ability to meet productivity standards and goals.
• Ability to identify safety hazards on project sites and take corrective measures to eliminate or reduce risks associated with those hazards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with roofing laborers and supervisors.
• Ability and willingness to help train up laborers on skilled roofing tasks.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects including materials and equipment.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 3-5 Years’ Experience
• Reliable Transportation
• OSHA-10 Certification (Preferred - Will Provide If Needed)
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check & drug screening.

Job Type: Full-time, Ability to Work 8 – 12 Hour Shifts

Salary: Competitive standard rates based upon experience. Prevailing wage projects paid at rates set by locale.
