Job Description:

As a Security Professional - Industrial Site Patrol - Full Time in Buckeye, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter. This position requires the use of a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your duties. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries related to access control and site-specific procedures.
  • Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual activities observed during patrols or access control duties.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
