Binding Minds is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Travel RN – Mother Baby (660)
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3x12s, Nights
Duration: 13 Weeks
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year (Mother-Baby specific)
Certifications Required: BLS, NRP

 

Compensation:

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,048
• Stipend (Per Diem): $1,400/week (included in gross)
• W2 Hourly Pay Rate: $18/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide couplet care for postpartum mothers and newborns
• Monitor postpartum recovery and newborn adaptation
• Administer medications, including Magnesium Sulfate when needed
• Support and educate new parents on newborn and maternal care
• Assist with common unit procedures such as circumcisions and phototherapy
• Document care accurately in Cerner EMR
• Float to L&D or NICU as a helping hand when needed

Required Skills:

• Experience in Mother-Baby/Postpartum care
• Newborn assessments and family teaching
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
