About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Strategic Advancement (VPSA) to join their senior leadership team. The VPSA will be a key player in setting and executing development and communication strategies, with a strong focus on fundraising and expanding philanthropic support. This role demands a visionary leader with a proven track record in development, including the design and implementation of comprehensive and sustainable strategies to increase revenue from diverse sources. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing advancement team, managing a portfolio of major donors, and working closely with the Board of Governors to maximize their engagement in fundraising efforts. Additionally, the VPSA will oversee strategic communications, ensuring that the organization's branding and messaging align with its mission and values. Candidates for the VPSA position should have at least 5 years of experience in development leadership, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and manage teams.
