Job Description:

As a Security Professional Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Ladson, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your presence and attention to detail will help create a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. This position requires you to drive as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will interact with a diverse group of people, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to various situations. What Youll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points within the facility.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid drivers license is required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
